SUMMARY:Earth Day Cleanup at Aurora Reservoir
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, April 19 to celebrate Earth Day and help preserve the beauty of the reservoir and protect the water source our community relies on!  \nRSVP Now (required): https://volunteer.samaritan.com/custom/507/opp_details/12359 \nThis is a two-part event! We will start the day with a “Bioblitz\,” which is an educational group effort to document plant and animal activity in the area (no experience required and kids are welcome with an adult guardian!) Then\, we will pivot to complete trash cleanup along the trails at Aurora Reservoir. \nWe will be meeting at the swim beach on the northwest side of the reservoir. Please let the folks staffing the gate know that you are attending the Bioblitz and reservoir cleanup and they will let you in for free. \nThe city will be providing everything needed\, including gloves and trash bags\, plus water\, coffee and snacks! \nFinally\, be sure to join us any time after the event at Lazy Dog! 15% of your total bill will be donated back to STAR!
